Does going to the Farmer’s Market leave you feeling overwhelmed and confused? Have a hard time distinguishing a sweet melon from a bitter melon? Do you think a Loofah is something that you use in the shower? Then join me the second and fourth Sunday of the month beginning in November from 9-1pm. We will meet at the Stonestown Farmer’s Market, located behind Macy’s in the Stonestown Shopping Center. (Plenty of parking!)
After we shop the market, we will return to the cooking studio learn the ins and out of brunch. So if omelet making has got you down and waffles make you weep then this class is for you! Instructions will cover:

Who doesn’t love to be the person at the party who brought the best dessert? In this three hour hands on course we will make classic chocolate cupcakes, crème brulee, Lemon Curd, A classic Jelly Roll and apple pie. Bring your Tupperware to take home the leftovers! |

Start your new year off right! Learn how to cook healthy meals for yourself and your loved ones! This three hour hands on class includes instruction on knife skills as well as instruction and tips on how to make *healthy* food taste good. Recipes will include but are not limited to : the secret, low Fat Vinaigrette, Grilled Chicken with Persimmon Salsa, Quinoa Pilaf with Roasted Kale and Sweet Potatoes and a low fat version of Panna Cotta . The vegetarian class will highlight whole grain cooking. Recipes will include: Curried Vegetable Stew, Roasted Eggplant and Farro Pilaf, Edamame Hummus, Homemade Baked Falafel and more! |

Release your inner Jacques or Julia! Come and explore the world of Classic French Cuisine. We’ll begin with French Onion Soup and move on to Coq au Vin and Moules Mariniere. We’ll end the evening with Souffled Crepes with a Grand Marnier Sauce. And if you think that flavorful French Cuisine evades vegetarians, then you are wrong! In this class, we will make a Dairy Free Fresh Mushroom Soup with Rosemary, move on to a Wild Mushroom Cassoulet and Parisian Gnocchi and end with a Tarte Tatin. |
