Bridal Boot Camp
A three week series meeting on Saturday April 13th, 20th and 27th from 10-1pm and May 11, 18 and 25.   Lunch is included
Individual classes are $90/person or $270 for the series.  Sign up for the series and receive a free apron!

Getting married and setting up house can make you want to nest at home and learn new skills.  In this three week seminar we will cover the following:

Week one: April 13th and May 11th

Setting up the kitchen-what equipment do you need to register for?  The hands on portion of the class covers knife skills and basic French cooking techniques.   We will make French onion soup, a classic chicken sauté with pan sauce, salad, vinaigrette and an easy French yogurt cake for dessert.

 

Week two: April 20th and May 18th

Learn how to shop the farmers market

We will meet at theNoeValleyfarmers market and learn how to shop for fresh produce.  The class will continue at the Studio of Good Living kitchen where we will learn how to prepare our freshly selected produce.

 

Week 3: April 27th and May 25th

How to throw a fabulous dinner party!

We will cover menu planning, etiquette and table settings.  Our lunch menu will build on the skills that you have learned over the last few weeks.  Moroccan chicken with saffron cous cous, kale salad with pine nuts, currants and Parmesan and chocolate creme brûlée will conclude the meal.

The Global Gluten Free Vegan
A two week series.  Friday evenings April 12, 19 and may 10 and 17.
Classes may be taken individually for 90/person or 80/person if you sign up for the two classes.
Think that gluten free and vegan has to be boring? Dull? Think again!  Vegetarian food can be some of the most diverse, delicious and satisfying on the planet.  In this two week series I’ve adapted classic recipes fromThailand,Indiaand china to accommodate a gluten free vegan diet.  Come and explore!!!

Week one: April 12th and May 10th

Southeast Asia–Thailand,VietnamandBurma.  Tea leaf salad, pad kee mao, pho and more!

Week 2: April 19th and May 17th

A Taste of India

Pindi Channa masala, dal, chutney, dosa and more!

Get your Grill on! Cooking with the Big Green Egg
Saturdays June 8th and 22nd plus July 13th and 27th from 10 to 1.
$90/person.
grillclass This class is perfect for those who have always been intimidated by outdoor cooking or if they just want to refine their technique. Participants will discuss starting and managing your fire, making marinades as well as Grilled Thai Style Chicken, Roasted Mussels, Tandoori Chicken and Pizza.
