Day 1
4pm Registration and Check-in
6pm welcome Hors d’ouevres on the porch
7pm Dinner
Shuttle back to Pattee Pond
Day 2
7:30-9:30am Breakfast Buffet
10am Field Trip to a local farm, where we pick what is in season. Apples in the fall, fiddleheads in the spring etc.
1:30pm Lunch
2:30pm-4:30pm Cooking Class ‘Using the Summer Garden’
4:30pm-6:30pm *Free Time* Read, Swim, Boat, Hike, Fish
6:30pm Dinner
Day 3
7:30-9:30am Breakfast Buffet
9:30-12pm Free Morning to explore the Lake or join us as we visit a local antique mall
Noon: Depart for Belfast to have lunch at Young’s Lobster Pound, an authentic New England experience.
4pm-5pm: Art of Dinner Seafood Seminar Extravaganza
6pm Dinner
7:30pm-9pm Optional Fiber Arts Class *learn how to knit or spin! Already in the know? Bring your latest project with you.
Day 4
7:30-9:30am Breakfast Buffet
10am Depart for Lincolnville and take the ferry to Isleboro
Noon-2pm Gourmet Picnic Lunch on the Shore with time to explore.
3:30 Return to the Retreat House
4pm-6pm Art of Dinner Seminar
6:30pm Dinner
7:30pm-9pm Optional Manicure/Pedicure or Massage. One on One Culinary Consultation Available
Day 5
7:30-9:30am Breakfast Buffet
10am Depart for Maine Woolens, a small textile mill in Brunswick, Maine, where they make beautiful renewable fiber blankets.
Noon: Harraseeket Inn for Lunch in world famous Freeport
1pm-3pm Visit LL Bean and shop the outlet stores (there are many!!).
4pm: Return to the retreat house.
4pm-6pm: Choose from free time, knitting, spinning or cheese making seminar.
6:30pm Dinner

The Maine Idyll Retreat was designed for the culinary enthusiast who wants to learn how to take their skills to the next level combined with a scenic travel adventure. Your experience is orchestrated and planned in advance. Yes, we have provided plenty of time for “personal space and reflection” to drink in the beauty of this magical location. Enjoy a spa treatment in the privacy of your room after a fun filled day of cooking, bonding and sharing with other studio guests.
Local artisans and retailers will be opening their doors to you with tours and historical perspectives of the town you will be residing. Highlights of your trip include a “Lobster Fest”, an experience that blends a day trip and Chef Phoebe’s The Art of Dinner that will make this a yearly must attend event.
