Learn the ins and outs of potstickers, siu mai, har gow and sichuan style wontons. Conclude with lemon tarts and mango pudding.
Sweet and Savory Tarts
Master the art of pastry and tart dough. Learn classic pate sable (all butter), pate sucre (tart dough), free-form galette and all American flaky pie crust and then feast on quiche, chocolate caramel tart, seasonal fruit tart and American apple pie. Snacks will be provided during the class.

One of the most difficult things to master in Italian Cuisine is gnocchi. We will make both potato and ricotta gnocchi from scratch along with a marinara, sausage ragu, alfredo and/or brown butter and sage sauce. We will conclude with a chocolate amaretti torte for dessert.
Prepare and enjoy a complete French dinner of gougeres, warm goat cheese salad with lardons, sole veronique or coq au vin, pommes gratine, seasonal vegetables and vanilla bean or chocolate creme brulee or ouefs a la neige.
Country French Dinner

“The event was a huge success! Everyone was engaged at the level they felt comfortable and each person was able to experience several stations to learn a variety of skills. The meal which was prepared was exceptional. Who knew a bunch of engineers could create a 5-star dining experience? The next day all of the participants were commenting on what a wonderful experience it was.”
“We were very happy with Phoebe and her team. The food was absolutely wonderful and Phoebe did a great job of explaining the process of making Sushi, the history, etc. We all learned a lot in this class. We also loved the location in North Beach and the kitchen made for a nice, intimate gathering. We were very happy with this experience overall.”
